HeroQuest Card Creator is a browser‑based tool for designing custom HeroQuest‑style cards that look and feel like they came straight out of the original box. If you’ve ever tried to hack together cards in a generic graphics editor, fought with fonts, spacing, and alignment, or lost work between sessions, this is meant to fix all of that. The layouts, typography, and proportions are tuned to match the classic cards, so you can focus on ideas—heroes, monsters, treasure—rather than fiddling with templates.

You work entirely in a friendly editor: pick a template (hero, monster, treasure, backs, and more), drop in artwork from a built‑in asset library, tweak framing with simple sliders, and type your rules text with support for bold, italic, and neat dotted “leader lines” for things like costs. Stats are edited using compact controls that mirror the strip on the card, so what you see on the right matches what appears on the card preview to the left. When you’re happy, you can save named cards into a stockpile, revisit and update them later, and export finished cards as high‑quality PNGs ready for print or layout.

All of this runs locally in your browser—no accounts, no servers. Drafts and saved cards live in your browser, and a built‑in backup system lets you export everything (cards + images) to a single file and restore it on another machine or browser.
